What You Will Learn
Starting with solid backend development skills, this specialization shifts focus away from the basics of software development to its delivery and maintenance. It is designed for students with interests in system administration, site reliability engineering, devops, or platform engineering. At its core, this program addresses a critical question: How can we enable application developers to build products at a fast pace that are reliable and secure?
Students mastering these skills are well-positioned to become the first engineer or technical cofounder in a startup with their capability of both developing an app and ensuring its operational success. They might also become members of a cross-functional team of application engineers striving to streamline and secure application delivery.
