CODE is partnering with soonami, a Swiss venture builder and startup ecosystem focused on AI and Web3. The partnership connects CODE's community of digital pioneers with soonami's global network of mentors, investors, and resources — making it even easier for students to take what they're already building and turn it into a funded venture.

soonami (Foundance AG, based in Baar, Switzerland) has supported over 5,000 builders across eight cohorts of their Venturethon program and built a community that includes unicorn founders from companies like Wefox, Ableton, and Zanox. Their approach is hands-on: real venture building, not just pitching ideas.

At CODE, students already build meaningful products during their studies — from working prototypes to full startups. This partnership adds another layer: access to an ecosystem that specializes in taking early ventures and helping them grow, with mentorship, resources, and funding.

First initiative: soonami Venturethon Edition 9

The partnership kicks off with soonami's Venturethon Edition 9, a 10-day remote venture building program running from February 23 to March 5, 2026. Teams of two or more work together to build real AI or Web3 startups from scratch — with structured mentorship, workshops, and demo days along the way.

The program is open to everyone, fully remote, and selects up to 50 teams on a rolling basis. Participants get access to:

  • Mentorship from unicorn founders and industry experts
  • $2,500 in OpenAI API credits per qualifying team
  • Cloud credits from Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS
  • Cash prizes for best AI and best Web3 startups
  • Up to $125K in funding opportunities post Demo Day

The top teams enter a 3-month Entrepreneur in Residence program to continue building with dedicated support from the soonami ecosystem.

What CODE contributes

As part of the partnership, CODE is offering a dedicated entrepreneurship session for students interested in starting a venture, along with a full course at CODE University of Applied Sciences (valued at $3,000 USD) as part of the Venturethon prize pool.

Looking ahead

This is the beginning of a longer collaboration. Both organizations share a belief that the best way to learn is by building — and that builders deserve real support, not just encouragement. The partnership is designed to grow as both communities find more ways to connect.
