What you will learn

In this specialization, you will learn the frontend and backend aspects of how to build a web application. On the frontend, you’ll consider the best frameworks, understand how users will interact with your website, and develop scalable frontend code. On the backend, you’ll gain knowledge in API design, architectural choices, database management, and modern deployment techniques.

You will also engage in practical exercises to better understand the underlying mechanisms. The focus will be on mastering state-of-the-art best practices that enhance speed and quality in development. You will also have opportunities to explore specific areas of interest, such as building mobile apps, engaging in low-level network programming using various protocols, or investigating cloud architectures. Web development is practical, versatile, enjoyable, and highly sought after both within the startup ecosystem and by large corporations.
