How Long Does a Bachelor’s Degree Take?
The standard duration for all our Bachelor’s programs is six semesters, equivalent to three years. All programs are taught in English and comply with the European Bologna Process.
We offer the following Bachelor’s degrees:
- Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering : Focuses on software development across various systems and programming languages, equipping you with the skills for elegant and efficient problem-solving—both individually and in teams.
- Bachelor of Arts in Digital Design & Innovation : Centers on designing digital products with the goal of creating positive user experiences through technology.
- Bachelor of Arts in Business Management & Entrepreneurship : Prepares future leaders in the tech industry to develop strategies and concepts for digital products, manage product development, and analyze and validate business ideas.
How Long Does a Master’s Degree Take?
Our Master’s program, Master of Science in Technology & Management , offers two flexible study formats:
- Fast-track: 12 months (60 ECTS)
- Extended-track: 24 months (120 ECTS)
This program is aimed at pioneers without a technical background who aspire to leadership roles in the tech sector. It equips students with both technical knowledge and management skills for the digital economy.
Dual and Part-Time Study Options at CODE
In addition to our full-time programs, we also offer part-time options for our Master’s degree . These formats may extend the overall duration of your studies but provide the flexibility to gain work experience or fulfill other commitments while studying.
The extended durations are as follows:
- Fast-track: 24 months (60 ECTS)
- Extended-track: 48 months (120 ECTS)

Can I Finish My Studies Faster?
Yes! One of the standout features of our university is the flexibility in study duration. If you already have relevant experience or prior knowledge, you may be able to shorten your program and complete your Bachelor’s degree sooner. This flexibility aligns with our educational concept , which emphasizes self-directed learning and real-world project experience.
What Are the Semester Dates at CODE?
Our academic year is divided into two semesters:
- Fall Semester: Begins in late August. Lectures, workshops, projects, and exams take place from September through December, with a break from Christmas to the end of January.
- Spring Semester: Begins in February and concludes with exams in May.
There are no mandatory campus dates from June to August. However, the campus remains open for you to work on private projects.
