CODE students and Bosch experts to work together to develop IoT solutions for a connected future

Berlin, December 3, 2019 – CODE is delighted to announce a new partnership with Bosch, the leading supplier of technology and services. The aim of the partnership is to foster exchange between industry and students, especially in the field of digital product development. The Internet of Things (IoT) will have an influence on how we live, work, and move around. It will fundamentally change mobility, turn houses into smart homes, and make factories more productive – and Bosch offers solutions for all these spheres.

Thanks to the new partnership, CODE students will be able to work side by side with Bosch experts on problems and projects taken from real life, and in this way play a part in shaping the future. In addition, Bosch engineers will challenge students with projects, providing them with access to theoretical knowledge from the cutting edge. “It is practically impossible to speak about German engineering and innovation without mentioning Bosch. The company stands out by virtue of its long-term perspective and its active commitment to society and the environment. By partnering with Bosch, which is a pioneer in many disciplines, we are encouraging CODE students to see Bosch as a model and themselves to become digital pioneers of our age,” says Thomas Bachem, the founder and chancellor of CODE.

“We are very much looking forward to working with CODE. Through this strategic partnership with such a young, forward-looking university in Germany’s startup capital Berlin, we want to give students the chance to work on real-life problems and, in this way, to shape a smart future. We are curious to see what they come up with, and urge them to join with our global Bosch network in making their visions reality. For me, there is absolutely no doubt that this partnership will give rise to pioneering ideas and reveal promising talent,” says Filiz Albrecht, Executive Vice President for Human Resources at Bosch.
