Office Manager (m/f/d)

CODE is a newly-founded private university of applied sciences that is embedded into the vibrant network of Berlin’s digital economy. About the role

As the Office Manager, you report to the COO and are an integral part of the Facilities and Office team. Your main responsibility is to enable the CODE Team with organizational and communications support. As CODE’s student body and employee teams grow, so does our event and coordination needs. We are searching for someone who can create new strategies and automation of the processes and practices for the Facilities and Office team as we scale.

You will be a vital participant in the following tasks:

  • Internal events management:
    – Managing vendors, such as food & drink
    – Providing directional support to employees and students
  • Support other teams (such as Campus, Finance and HR) in an operational role
  • Managing other onsite community resources such as the Library
  • Representing CODE as a primary point of contact for all undirected communication
  • Traditional office management responsibilities such as:
    – Procurement of office supplies, study and work materials
    – Distribution of mail and rental equipment

About you

  • At least 2 years of Office Manager experience
  • Excellent German and English skills (written and spoken)
  • Available onsite Monday through Friday
  • Have the following personal characteristics: Solution oriented, Organized, Adaptable, Outgoing, Direct, Spontaneous
