Marketing Manager (m/f/d)

CODE is a newly-founded private university of applied sciences that is embedded into the vibrant network of Berlin’s digital economy. About the role

As the Marketing Manager, you report to the CXO and will work closely with the External Communications & Network Team to get the word out about CODE. Your main responsibility is to support the growth of CODE’s student base, using story telling skills and participating in outreach opportunities for potential students, CODE community and with the media. You will be a vital participant for the following tasks:

  • Proactively contribute and develop engaging content through storytelling and related assets
  • Plan and manage on- and offline content (website, blog posts, brochures, flyers, press releases) from ideation to a finished product
  • Work with the team to plan and attend events as well as traditional or digital campaigns to facilitate their success
  • Manage and build PR related activities such as: building relationships, content and channels
  • Ensure accuracy of content, spelling, and grammar for a variety of our English on- and offline material for additional marketing related content

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has at least 2 years of storytelling and content development skills, including published articles,
  • Is native English, or previous experience story telling at a native English level,
  • Has experience with planning and managing compelling on- and offline content,
  • Has experience with PR,
  • Has the following personal characteristics: Outgoing personality, independent working style, organized and solution-oriented.
