Fullstack Developer (m/f/d) Node.js / React

CODE is a newly-founded private university of applied sciences that is embedded into the vibrant network of Berlin’s digital economy. The core of our study programs are real-world projects, accompanied by seminars and workshops with an advanced flipped-classroom concept. Together with a network of industry partners, our goal is to provide students with a practical, real-world, and digitally-oriented education.

You will be building the learning platform that enables CODE students, professors, and staff alike to work together. Together with a tightly knit team of developers, we have to deliver a fully fledged first version covering the core features by August 15, after which we’ll continuously improve and build features that create a fundamentally better learning experience.

Your tasks and responsibilities

will include

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • Create the architecture and infrastructure for this platform to become a SaaS solution

Required qualifications

  • Fluent english
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with Git / Github
  • 3 years of Node.js
  • 3 years of React
  • 3 years with relational databases
  • 1 year with GraphQL (Preferably using Apollo)
  • Experience working in an agile team of developers
  • TDD/ General experience testing react applications (ideally with Jest+react-testing-library)
  • Manage individual project priorities, deadlines and deliverables

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with Typescript
  • Experience in Web security
  • Able to create SaaS architecture and implementation
  • Able to use Docker (and/or kubernetes)
  • Experience with Prisma/GraphCool
