
Ulrich von Zadow
Software Engineering

Ulrich von Zadow is lecturer for Software Engineering at CODE and a passionate software developer, teacher, and researcher. His work focuses on Human-Computer Interaction and therefore touches interaction design and psychology as well.
He was awarded his PhD in 2018 at the Interactive Media Lab Dresden for research on interacting with touch-sensitive display walls. Before that, he worked for more than a decade building technology-centered exhibits for museums at the Berlin companies Archimedes Exhibitions and ART+COM – first as a software developer, then as project and team lead.
Ulrich also has a long-standing interest in open source software and maintained the media development framework libavg for more than 15 years.
