Barbara Iverson

Interpersonal Skills Program Coordinator & Special Representative for Equal Opportunities

Barbara (Barb) has a Master’s degree in Global Leadership, and has spent the last 25 years working with youth and adults in Leadership Development, both in her native US and in Europe. At CODE she has expanded her teaching range into Teamwork and Collaboration and Intercultural Understanding, among other things. Interestingly, she finds that all of these topics are intertwined and influence each other.

In her role as Special Representative for Equal Opportunities, she co-leads the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion task force, where they examine relevant topics and discuss how to bring them into focus for both the leadership and community at CODE.

Outside of CODE she spends a lot of time at her pottery wheel, and is currently building a home ceramic studio. This is a relatively new world to her, and she finds it very rewarding to see the fruits of her labor, as well as how these processes relate to the topics she’s currently teaching. Everything is connected! You can also find her cooking, baking, creating and reading at home. She loves to travel (especially to beachy places) and is a lifelong learner.
